Steven M. Merdinger, CPA, is a senior partner at Konigsberg, Wolf & Co., P.C. in the areas of accounting, tax and business advisory services. He has spent his entire career in public accounting and is a recognized leader in a variety of business and community endeavors. For over 25 years, Steve has assisted clients in a broad range of industries, identifying the information they need to increase profitability and to minimize tax expense.
Steve merged his practice with Konigsberg, Wolf & Co., P.C. after being the senior and founding partner of a New York City based, mid-size CPA firm. Having started his professional career with Coopers & Lybrand, he rapidly grew in stature and position before being admitted as a partner to a small local firm in 1980.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).
Steve holds a CPA license in New York, Florida and Virginia.
In addition, Steve serves on the Board of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation - New York Chapter, where he previously was its President and Chairman. He is a member of JDRF’s International Board of Chancellors, where he was Treasurer, Board Member and Executive Committee Member for 6 years. He also previously served on the Advisory Board of the Park Avenue Synagogue.
