Eugene L. Stoler, CPA and attorney, is a tax partner with Konigsberg Wolf & Co., P.C. For the past 43 years, he has been actively involved in providing corporations and individuals with tax compliance, planning and advisory services, and representing them before the Internal Revenue Service (through proceedings in the U.S. Tax Court).

During his tenure with the firm, Mr. Stoler has focused his efforts on designing estate plans that result in significant reductions in the estate and gift tax obligations of his clients. His particular area of expertise includes designing "house trusts" (qualified personal resident trusts), grantor retained annuity trusts (particularly where there is a transfer of Subchapter S stock to a second generation) and family limited partnerships. When implemented, these plans have proven to be extremely successful in legally reducing eventual estate and gift tax liabilities that would otherwise have been incurred.

Due to his broad educational training and extensive experience, Mr. Stoler has also assisted criminal counsel in the defense of criminal tax proceedings against their clients, serving as an expert witness as well as designing counter-thrusts to government assertions.

Mr. Stoler is both a Certified Public Accountant and an attorney licensed to practice before the New York Bar. He is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Brooklyn Bar Association and the New York Trial Lawyers' Association.

For almost 20 years, Mr. Stoler served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Taxation at the Long Island University Graduate School of Business where he taught graduate level classes in taxation. He served as a member of the Distinguished Faculty Bank of the Foundation for Education of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and has been a frequent lecturer for that organization since 1965. Mr. Stoler has also authored numerous articles, which have appeared in Taxation for Accountants, The New York Certified Public Accountant and The CPA Journal. For more than 22 years, Mr. Stoler was the New Decisions Editor of the prestigious Journal of Taxation publication.

Since 1965, Mr. Stoler has continuously served as a member of numerous taxation committees of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, including: Federal Taxation, Corporate Reorganization and Liquidations, Foreign Taxation, Income of Estates and Trusts, Relations with the Internal Revenue Service, Partnership Taxation, Individual Income Taxation, and Estate Planning.

Mr. Stoler received his B.S. degree in Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, a JD degree from Brooklyn Law School and an LLM degree (in taxation) from the New York University School of Law.
